As a writer and a car enthusiast, I thought it best to combine my two passions and create a “how-to” website, but it will probably mature into a “this is what we did” website. My hopes is that this will be helpful and entertaining to those people who are interested building their own drag racing car and those who just needed something fun to read for a moment or two.

Being a female who knows more about cars than the average person has drawbacks, but for the most part it has helped me and many friends stranded on the side of the road. At an early age I became interested in cars, and that interest has grown the older I’ve become. This interest is mainly due to my father, who has graciously donated his 1980 Ford Mustang to this project.

As the days go by, I hope to give detailed information complete with photos all dealing with the process.

This is the beginning of an extremely long process of building a drag car.
